re: Your least favorite current TV commercials

What’s funny is that the lamest commercials are for companies where I can’t tell you what they’re trying to sell.

Example: the insurance one with the Rampage and Tina Fey driving. I know it’s insurance but still can’t tell you which company.

Descovy and Truvada with the drag queens

The Good Rx commercial where the Mom is walking into the Pharmacy with her little boy and says "my son NEEDS this medication, I hope it doesn't cost too much."

And then she's at the counter and says "how much?"

And the Pharmacist says, $67 and she says "no, sorry" and starts walking away.

Really? I thought your kid needed the medication? You drove there in a car, you're wearing a nurses or waitress uniform - so you have a job and some money. I mean, it's not like you're homeless.

Whoever wrote that commercial has no idea how to pander without being awful and unrealistic. No mother is going to choose a bunch of Big Macs that night over her son's medication.

My least favorite is the "safe drivers save 40%" where they are in the restaurant. I hate every single person in that commercial except for the main dude.
