I think a lot of the good ones have been mentioned so far. Seems like all the good ones are old. That could be a product of the posters on this board just not watching many videos as of late or the recent videos just aren't as good. Seems like the newer videos just don't have it, whatever 'it' is.

I'll throw in the Spike Jonze video of the Fat boy slim song "praise you" and I love the relatively new one from OK go "this too shall pass." If you haven't seen it, you should definitely check it out. Excellent song and video.

Yeah, especially if you're not using headphones.

I've always liked their video for Donkey Rhubarb. Those bears are awesome. I'm going to dress up like one for Halloween one of these days.

Sigur Ros - Vidrar Vel Til Loftárasa

I'm a huge Sigur Ros fan. This is one of their better ones. When I hear Vidrar... I always think of Pink Floyd. It reminds me a lot of their music.

They actually won MTV's best music video of the year in 2003 for Untitled #1 which is also excellent(but arguably, their worst). They make excellent videos but the music is so damn good, it can make almost any scene emotionally charged (especially two soccer players kissing each other midfield ).

Does he come up with the ideas for the videos too? All of his videos are about as strange as I have ever seen.

I completely forgot about Thriller. Everyone knows about Thriller's awesomeness. The thread should be 3 favorite music videos of all time (other than Thriller).

I can't think of three off the top of my head, but I love the visuals in "Tonight, Tonight".

I remember when that video premiered. It had more hype and press coverage than most movies of in 1982. It was a really big deal.
