Sam Elliot's character was terrible in 1883.

I'm usually a big fan of Elliot's, but not on this show.

Sam Elliot and LaMonica Garrett were the two bright spots in 1883.

Tim McGraw? Sucked.

Faith Hill? Sucked.

Isabel May? Sucked. Also, her narrating was goofy.

I've watched two episodes, and I'm waiting for him to not be the broken character he is at the beginning of the show.

Absolutely love Tim McGraw:'s character.

The show is Sons of Anarchy but with cowboys. First season was really good but man has it been dog shite since then.

I think SOA remained good through season 5

Yellowstone started sucking after season 3.

When a show stops being about an ever evolving story line and just about milking what is working then it will go downhill. You cant be scared to kill off some main characters if it makes sense for the show.

This. It’s what made shows like Sopranos and GOT so good along with excellent writing and dialogue

Yellowstone also lacks proper character arc and development. Great shows like Breaking Bad, BCS, Sopranos, GOT have fantastic character development. They leave you loving some early in the show then hating them later, and vice versa. Yellowstone has made it where you hate all of the characters. Rip is about the only one left I like at this point

Walking Dead Syndrome Exactly the other show I had in mind when I typed that.

Supernatural did it as well. I enjoyed the entire show but it really wasn’t the same after season 5. It could have ended with putting Lucifer back in the cage and been fine
