Jaime seems to have more balls this year. Maybe it's a result of staying in the bunk house for a time, but the Jaime of season 1 or 2 would never have the balls to pull off what he did with the barrel racer's dad.

I didn't see him. The only reference to him was John asking old boy to take his time getting him so John could get the gov in his tent.
I loved the scene with John and Kasey coming out of their tent at the same time and communicating without speaking.

S3 sucks so far if I’m honest
I wouldn’t say it sucks, but I’m with you on the cheesiness.
It’s still a beautiful setting, the fight to keep their land is still relevant. I come from a farming and ranching (to a lesser extent) background. Still am a farmer. I get the relationship you have with land and that lifestyle.
But then I do agree that some of the shite going on is so dumb.
Things I like so far:
Jamie is growing a pair. Please don’t destroy your 15th chance
John and the Gov making day moves and night moves
Rip and Kayce running the show on the ranch, coming into their own
Looks like the cowboys and Indians are going to team up again to tell the coastal elites to eat shite
Interested to see where the Kayce as Livestock Commissioner storyline is going to go.
Dislikes:
Monica. Seriously bitch. frick off. You were living in a trailer last year. Everybody is bending over backwards to make you feel welcomed and you just fricking suck with this woe is me and my people attitude. Doesn’t seem to be bothering your sexual appetite though. You’ll frick in the briar patch like 15 seconds after your kid ran off. And the wolf needed to be shot. They’re predators.
Growing tired of Beth a little. We get it. She’s a train wreck. Let’s move on. She’s a lot more of an interesting character when she’s in town, cutting deals and what not, than she is howling like a wolf and laying drunk in the horse pen.
Jimmy and the girl... Please. I’ve been in the hospital with a broken leg, internal injuries, collapsed lung, concussion, etc. It’s not even believable that that’s going down. Do these people making the calls on this show know how difficult it is to get an erection with all that going on + the medicine he’s on? I think my dick retreated internally for a couple days when I was in the hospital.
That new ranch girl. We gave up Walker for you?
Just to make sure nobody thinks I’m misogynistic since all my dislikes have to deal with women, I LOVE the governor. That’s a great character.

However, I will never tire of Beth. I like seeing a little softer and potentially more vulnerable side of her.
Monica used to be part of the story in season 1. Now, I think she's just incidental to it.
Jimmy and the Girl - I work in a hospital. Our population is mostly over 70! We have had them going at it here. You'd be surprised! I think we are supposed to believe he has a big one and she's the kind that probably likes the danger of being caught.
Teeter cannot go away fast enough. I can't see any point of having here there. Maybe she's going to jump Jimmy's bones and then we will get a cat fight.

When John said” pack up the camp, my summer vacation is over,” you know it’s about to start getting good. The John and biker scene at the end of this weeks episode are the scenes that keep me coming back. That’s the show we all enjoy.
