Apparently, ryan reynolds had been trying to get a deadpool movie made for a while. Supposedly they just gave him the cameo in the movie kind of to honor his effort. If this movie does well (which so far it has) he's supposedly going to be given the green light to make a movie about deadpool's origin story.

I dont buy that. No studio is going to "give" a role to someone just because of his begging effort to play the character. I actually think it was the other way around. I think he didnt agree to do a spin off so they fricked up the character in the end.

Which one of the mutants powers did he steal that lets him reattach his head?

I really enjoyed it. Sabertooth was great IMHO. There were jokes, but not enough to make it cheesy.

I didn't see this movie, but Noah did a great review of it as always.

Wade is an awesome character but I was upset that the deadpool I remembered was an expert marksman who also used Katanas but they kind of seperated his powers between Agent Zero and him.

They need to make a deadpool movie where he has marksmanship, swords, teleportation, comic awareness(breaks the 4th wall like he did in the comics), and regeneration then I will be happy.

If this move had come out in 2000, I would have been blown away. After a Spider-Man 2, Iron Man, and Dark Knight, and other great comic titles I was a little disapointed.

Some of the CGI looked really bad. It's not another Catwoman or Elektra, but it's more on par with Fantastic 4, than the other X-men movies

Spoiler Alert!!!!!

The scene where the old couple are killed kinda made me say WTF. My old man was blown away by the movie, but he liked Daredevil.

unknown if they would have just showed Wolverine as the brooding, loner, ferocious character that he was going thru his life with this amnesia type stuff he had from weapons x taking on certain mutants, but before then tell the story of him and sabretooth and him going thru weapons x, we would have a winner.

but this was purely a entertainment venture.

If anyone was expecting to have another Dark Knight-esque movie on our hands, you should've seen another flick. Movies with huge advertising budgets are normally low quality when it comes to plots. Dark Knight, Iron Man, and maybe the Edward Norton version of The Hulk are some rare exceptions. IMO

get over myself is that what I'm doing? I just said it was a movie purely made for entertainment, but people are just discussin that it could have been made in a different lite like most thought it would. there are support groups for people that take shite the wrong way, like you. sign up.

You're right. If it were dark and adult themed like the new Barman films were then this would have been a winner. But hey, Marvel felt that pimping Wolvierine on Fast food cups and razors was a better way to go.
