And thanks for the link. I found it this morning and watched it. Definitely a cool story and something they can show their kids one day.

I haven't read the thread, but is this season completely god awful compared to last?
I've started watching twice and both times I turned off the show within 10 minutes of starting it. The talent seems god awful compared to last year from what I've seen and they've shown a bunch of terrible(supposedly funny) auditions that just left me annoyed.
I miss Carley Rose.

I think they left out some of the really good people during the auditions.

There are some standouts in looking forward to hearing, but I sure headed a lot of pitchy singing tonight.
Rachel wasn't great tonight, but she was sick. She was outstanding in her first audition. She and McCloud are the top over 25's.
Ashley Williams remains the best audition I've seen or heard on any singing competition ever.
The 4 chair business is silly. Just takes up time. I'd rather all 10 sing and the mentor choose 4. They put everyone in a chair and then take some back out. Boring.
