Comet played the lovable and remarkably obedient pooch in the crowded house. He was played by golden retriever Buddy.
Buddy was also the star of the Disney movie "Air Bud" and its sequel.

Can't find a pic but in Fast Times at Ridgemont High, the blonde in the Corvette that Brad flirts with while he's wearing his pirate outfit is Nancy Wilson, the guitarist from Heart. She was married to Cameron Crowe who wrote the screenplay based on his book.
