WTF! Ben Foster plays Eli in Freaks and Geeks?

just played the first episode. everytime i see someone i am shocked... the cast is awesome. but the thing that really threw me off was

Ben Foster might be the biggest boom/bust actor in Hollywood.
I feel like his agent is asleep at the wheel half the time, getting him awesome roles for his badassery the other half.

I posted this in today's F&G thread and in the WTF thread. He's kind of like the next generation's Daniel Day Lewis (not as good, but still very talented) in that he looks pretty different in each of his roles.
