So that's what was in Gandalf and Bilbo's pipes....

I bet with an R rating...

However, Sam was making babies n shite at the end of ROK.

Aragorn had Eowyn and Arwen throwing themselves at him... seemed like they were undersexed far too badly.

Middle Earth by a mile.

I'd probably head straight to Lothlorien or Rivendell.

Westeros, as cool as the SoIaF story is, wouldn't even be second on my list.

Any of y'all familiar with The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant by Stephen R. Donaldson? I'd pick The Land as second and hope and pray that I hooked up with Foamfollower or Pitchwife.

Every time I see Gandalf make an O-shaped mouth in the trilogy I find it impossible not to chortle

You can have sex here. The only thing in Westeros that compares to any of these is the Wall:

Admittedly, the sites are better in mE, but the people are less interesting. I contend that ME is more dangerous, and for just a couple of coins I can hit ros

Middle Earth, easily.

You think the Wall is cool? Check out Mount Doom, Dwarf cities are insane too.

The shire is gorgeous of course, go visit Tom Bombadil, but make sure to sing so those damn trees don't snatch you up.

Go visit the elves, Minis Tirith, I'm not sure how Westeros could be better in anyone's mind.

Westeros really seems more like a place that could exist on our Earth. Middle Earth is nothing like that. In the thread the other day one of the things people liked most about GOT is that they thought it was more like reality. Which is exactly why I would prefer to visit the fantasy world that is Middle Earth.

But I'm a significantly bigger LOTR fan than GOT

I really don't think so. If you were north of Isengard in the books, you were pretty safe.

With Westeros, only the Vale and Dorne seem to be safe for the time being.

The 9 made its way to the shire and then there's the looming threat of Sauron. I wouldn't want to stay north of isengard anyway, traveling is more dangerous in ME, I can kill a man, I'm fricked if I come across a horde of orcs on those things or trolls or whatever

I'd argue that it is more difficult to survive and travel in Westeros. So many people die in this show. One of the Fellowship die. 2 if you count Gandalf The Grey, but he came back as White, so lose one to gain 1.5

I don't see how you'd last much longer against the Mountain, the Brave Companions, or the Bastard Boys. I'd rather get killed quickly by a bunch of Orcs rather than be captured by those 3 groups.
