Someone recommended this in the other werewolf thread, and I absolutely recommend this as a dramatic comedy type film.
SPOILERS
I read through some Reddit threads, and I don’t yet see anyone with my possible interpretation. I feel the father could be an actual werewolf despite the taxidermist because in the climactic scene, it almost looks like they sharpen his teeth like he’s about to transform before he falls into the snow. He’s an alcoholic so he has dual lives and will wake up without knowing the horrific things he’s done. Another clue is as he’s leaving his daughter at college and the boys say they smell fresh meat, he stops and tenses up like he’s her protector. It was mainly the odd smile and “twinkle” they put on his teeth that made me think this though. I would feel more confident if more of the victims were males but that isn’t the case. However, even the box art hints at it being the case that they’re one and the same
ETA I found a Reddit AMA and the director (main actor, John) claims they had to make a real arse convincing werewolf in the early scenes for the payoff at the end (where he looks like a high school mascot). frick that, I think my theory is way more interesting

Thanks for posting the trailer, watched it tonight based off just that. Great way to spend 90 mins after an LSU win. ????
Good flick!

Written, directed and starring a local. Jim Cummings from Nola. I also recommend his first movie Thunder Road.

The acting looks suspect in the trailer.
