I heard on the radio Friday that Madden always hated Frank Caliendo and hated being mocked like that and even looked for ways to sue him (of course every lawyer said he had no case).
So if you are making a movie about him, probably don't want to used the one guy in the world he hated to play him.

Oim sure this project will be about as true to life to life as the Joy Mangano film O. Russell made a few yrs ago.
It was basically the fever dream version of her story.
I also don't know how you cast Ferrell to play John Madden and not have it come off like absolute slapstick.

If Frank Caliendo isnt playing Madden, frankly,
