This episode has been money tonight!

A lot of funny parts last night. I thought it was funny when he wakes up after his panic attack and turns to Ryan and calmly tells him he is going to kill him in his sleep. Beach scene was pretty funny too but I wish they would show some scenes of how other people see him.(as a dog)

I loved him saying she has a dick.....
Wilfred is money.. And I agree they need to every once in a while show him as a dog.
and him being a Matt Damon fan...

so I just downloaded the first 2 seasons of the original Australian series. The humor doesnt translate as well so far, but
....the exact same actor plays Wilfred in this as well.

Wilfred first speaks to him before she comes to the door, from the night before and he tells her: "He was just saying what we were thinking" when she is saying she is sorry for the noise from her house. He thinks it was a boyfriend or someone, but it was actually Wilfred bitching.
The digging scene is gold, so is the waitress motorboat, along with the ending credits of ep 1. Earlier, when he looks out the window when his sister is ranting at his house, first he sees himself, then he sees Wilfred, that is just one of many thought provoking moments in retrospect, as well as Wilfred planting the wallet. Wilfred acts just like a K-9 would if it was human and they leave you wondering where this is all coming from.
The 'no pets allowed' beach scene in ep 2 is great when Wilfred is giddy and proudly drops the dead pelican in front of the horrified family.
The panic scene in the vet office and "I don't need tech support, I need a doctor" is another of so many great one liners.
I read where the creator came up with the idea after watching actors dressed up as animals for kids gigs cussing and smoking behind the stage, then the creator's girlfriend had a highly protective pooch....

"Fear: Ryan gets his wallet back(that's the good news)when his malevolent, porn addicted neighbor Spencer(Ethan Suplee)shows up. The bad news: Spencer is looking for answers about who broke into his house. He is also looking for blood."
Bump.
Bump.

Not sure why y'all think he's a terrible actor. He's not the best I've ever seen, but he's far from terrible.

I never watched Lord of the Rings but I think he is pretty good in this show.

I read somewhere that he is the show's creator. Makes since that he would continue to play the role in the US version.
I just watched the first 2 episodes last night. Really enjoyed it, but y'all have already covered the funny shite.
Hulk is my boy, but I gotta say that I've loved the subtle racist jokes so far.

he sees the dog as drinking a beer. what do the other people see? is he lapping it up in real life?
This is my only issue so far. Is the dog actually drinking the beer? Is Ryan actually smoking pot?
Or is Ryan drinking beer/smoking by himself and in real life is just hanging out with a dog, but portrays Wilfred drinking/smoking as well?
This show is really good so far.
For those that missed the first episode, all of them are available on FX's website for free. Wont work on Iphone but worked on my laptop.
