Back from war in Afghanistan, a young British soldier struggling with depression and PTSD finds a second chance in the Amazon rainforest when he meets an American scientist, and together they foster an orphaned baby ocelot.

Watched this a couple of nights ago. Really tugged on the heart strings. Kind of felt a little cynical towards the main guy though, seemed like he was making the ocelot rehab more about him than actually saving the animal.

I understand the emotions he was going through, and his mental illness, but the plan was for Keanu to become independent. The guy would melt down when Keanu kept coming back to their compound, but when Keanu finally seemed to become independent and stayed away from the compound, he melted down about that too. The guy was just an emotional mess in general. Hope he gets it together.

All in all, it was a good doc. Very heavy at times. Some really cool Peruvian Amazon jungle footage. The ocelots are so damn cute. So is the girl that runs the mission. I would recommend giving it a viewing.

Watched it last week and really enjoyed it.

Depression/mental illness is such a hard thing to watch someone go through.

It was tough when his little brother asks him where the arm scats came from.
