I watched like the first 4-5 seasons and then stopped. The show was good for the most part but it got very repetitive. The main "character" aka the famous actor didn't really seem like the actual star of the show but everything revolved around him being famous.

They basically just did the same shite over and over. The main famous guy would do stupid shite or get some holier than thou mind set just to change his mind at the end to go do another movie or show or something so he could make some money and his buddies could keep living the good life.

Isn't supposed to be based on marky marks Hollywood days in his youth?

Also Joe Rogan used to talk shite about this show all the time.

I always thought it was corny except for the scenes with Jeremy Piven

I’d still watch a Five Towns spin off.

recently re-watched it and had a blast. It's just a simple, fun show. Just curious, what doesn't hold up for you?

I guess my experience was different. Did a rewatch a couple of years ago and was meh. Other than the occasional Ari punchline, most of it felt outdated. That and when the show started centering around E and Turtle, it outright sucked.

A spin off with Ari and Scott Caan running competing firms would be entertaining.

That's a pretty wide range there.

I vaguely remember 1st and 10? Is that the one where Delta Burke caught her husband in bed with a dude and got ownership of the football team in the divorce?

Yet the Sopranos is talked about regularly and it first aired in 99. So the actual reason entourage is not talked about more must instead be because it wasn't good enough in some respect.

I hate Billy Walsh. He basically ruined Vince movie career with that dumbass Medillen by falling for an extra( which i believe was sofia vergara). Then he had multiple dogshit scripts for the snow mountain movie.

Turtle was the best part and most relatable character

Because all of the babes in that show have gotten old and not as attractive. That's the only thing that show had going for it.

I get what you're saying, and I kind of agree, except I think that it's probably more like all of us who were big fans back in the day HAVE aged, and a show that is really only about twenty somethings acting twenty something just doesn't resonate any more.

I think this My Two Dads show is a real hit, too. And Falcon Crest. Lot of ends and outs in Falcon Crest.

I watched it about 5 years ago in my late 30s. I enjoyed it but it was pretty dumb. As a 20 yo I would have loved it the same way 20 yo women probably loved sex and the city.

That being said, unlike (some of) those 20 yo women, I realized that wasn’t real life.
