There was a live action series and an animated series.
A younger Brendan Fraser would've made a good Captain Marvel. Jerry O'Connell did a good job voicing the character on the JLU series. He'd have made a good live action version as well.
And The Rock as Black Adam. That's a no-brainer.

Rob Lowe voiced DC Captain Marvel his first 2 appearances on Young Justice, then passed it on to his brother Chad Lowe.

true, but the appeal of Shazam/captain marvel is the aspect that he's actually a little boy.
I think you could include him in a larger DCU, but DC has made a point of neutering that character since they bought him.
