This is dumb.
It’s true nevertheless.
Please don’t be that person who throws out the glib misinformed remark. I’m certain you’re smarter and better than that.
I think your comment could steer some honest seekers away from even considering the New Testament and its revelations about Jesus Christ. Something important that they deserve a fair chance to research and make decisions based on what they discover. A respected voice like yours saying “dumb” might stop a serious inquiry before it starts.
Bad for them. Bad for you. Millstones and causing little ones to stumble and all that.
Here’s a thimble full of sources. You’re on your own.

the reason the Righteous Gemstones isn't about a Muslim/Jewish/Buddhist family is because that wouldn't connect with the average American viewer.
Partly true probably. Be assured that Allah or his prophet Mohammed will not be mocked, satirized, or “profaned” in any way. No studio, writer, producer, director, or actor wants the bombings, knifings, or other miscellaneous acts of violence which would ensue. Christian’s respond differently.
But Christians can enjoy self-deprecating humor directed at us, our critics, and our detractors.
If Jesus’s Resurrection Was A Hoax.
