i met my wife by taking her down HARD in intramural flag football. she juked and thought she could fake me out, but I caught her and she tried to go through me and failed.

she was pissed and the guys on her team rushed me but fortunately one of the guys had been a youth minister and i dated a girl in his youth group and he pulled them off and told them i was a nice guy.

she got pissed and slapped away my hand to help her up and apologize and we didn't talk for a while but ran into each other at a party and finally laughed about it.
