Personally, I find Batman begins to be the most rewatchable. I find the Dark Knight Rises to be second.

First time I watched each of them, I liked Batman Begins least, but it is very rewatchable and now my favorite.

It's grown on me a lot since it came out. Bane is a very underrated villain. Hardy was just awesome.

TDKR is an indefensible piece of rubbish. the script is soooo bad.

I like it more than I think most people do. Hardy's Bane is a good villain and I enjoy it while watching.

It's when you think about plot logic and pacing that you start to realize how flawed it is. If you just watch, don't think too hard and don't compare it to the other two, it's a good enough watch.

I know I have a contrarian label/reputation around here, particularly on some subjects.

And this is no exception. I really don't care for Christian Bale. Even so, I give credit where due - he was fantastic in American Psycho and (also with Nolan) The Prestige.

I am a lifetime fan of these comic book characters, Supes and Batman particularly. Having said all of that, BB was super meh to me and I never felt compelled to rewatch it. Joker, The Movie was only compelling because of Ledger's transcendent performance. I've never felt the urge to rewatch that one or the Bane movie even the first time.

I know I'm in the minority, but color me unimpressed (and I'm a fan of Christopher Nolan, generally).

There is just nothing to say to this. It pretty much kills any weight your opinion on anything could ever have

I'm sure you'll find a way to push through it.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure you're in the minority here.

Even just objectively, the Nolan Batman films are so well regarded, they spawned an entire new subgenre of superhero films. The gritty, hard edged look of them gave us every Zach Snyder superhero movie.

That's the biggest criticism is that there are so many subpar knockoffs now that try to duplicate tone, but don't duplicate quality.

Maybe I can redeem myself with this partisan crowd - BB, "meh" as it is - is almost certainly way better than any Snyder film except Watchmen. And Joker, The Movie definitely is.
