I hope they dont tear down the mummy ride at universal, it is one of the best rides there.

I rode it for the first time this past summer. I didn't know what to expect. It appeared to be a really old ride, the line was rather short, and it just seemed past it's time. But I decided to ride it anyhow.

It was awesome! Kinda made me realize that even the old rides are still exciting.

However, my wife and I got to ride the brand new Kong: Skull Island ride before it was even technically open. Universal was doing rehearsals and audience tests for the ride. We were allowed on.

It was next level AWESOME! Even standing in line at Kong Skull Island is a "ride". Essentially, actors jump out and scare you at various points in the line. It's no different than a haunted house with some really top notch animatronic freaky arse characters too.

And then the ride itself was just incredible.
