It really does have to do with the ratios. Seems like 13% of the actual population, is 60% of the TV population.
People need to stop supporting the bias.
They're just more noticeable to you because you hate to see it. Take a moment to look at the credits one day and you'll see how stupid your observation is.

A side effect being the crack-up of heroic male archetypes and comportment. Which has been replaced by the weird split of either cartoonishly freaky uber-masculine action heroes or the doughy white male schlub who constantly retreats to sarcasm to mask his lack of manhood. Both in their own peculiar ways tend to have unwelcome homo undertones. It's no wonder so many guys don't really find much in modern tv/movies that genuinely speaks to them these days.
Truth. Although maybe a bit exaggerated.

Chrissy Summers from Three’s Company is the last dumb woman character I can think of.
Jackie in That 70's Show
For a hyper-recent example, the annoying hispanic chick in The Paper.

All these shows have strong white male characters who don't fit your asinine narrative
How many of these were shows that started before the current DEI landscape we find ourselves in? I wouldn't really call The Wire casting relevant in a discussion about shows today

Shame how stupid they make the leads in The Pitt, Tracker, Slow Horses, and Tulsa King.

Coming up with names that fit this criteria is much harder than I expected. But all of those are pretty solid. I’m not a dad, but if I was, Eric Taylor is a pretty solid example.
Two others that maybe count would be Ron Swanson (step dad) and Hopper (kind of a dad). Could name a few more but not mainstream.
