Forrest Gump, Big Fish, Crazy in Alabama, and My Cousin Vinnie are all excellent.

Mississippi - O Brother
Louisiana - Angel Heart
Texas - Last Picture Show

I can do that too.

Louisiana
King Creole or Interview with the Vampire.
A Soldier's Story (1984) is a good one with a great cast that has not been mentioned.

Mississippi
Cat On a Hot Tin Roof (1958) or Crossroads (1986)
O Brother is a great one too.

Texas
Rush (1991) or The Last Picture Show (1971)
Others worth mentioning: Giant (1956), Hud (1963), Office Space (1999), Blood Simple (1984)
