More or less. Even Apollo's entrance to James Brown is essentially a montage.

It wouldn't shock me if Rocky IV has the highest percentage of music to dialogue for a non-musical.

Beta as hell, but Baby learning how to meringue before the big show at that hotel. I could tickle her arm for literally minutes.

Two good (but sad) ones from Pixar movies:

"Our Town" from Cars (James Taylor)

"When She Loved Me" from Toy Story 2 (Sarah McLachlan)

Two great montages showing the effects of time and change, and missing what we had before...
