Dazed and Confused - bunch of young folks in a hang-out movie, living in Austin during the summer. Richard Linklater also seems like he would be a chill guy to work for - can't imagine him screaming in a bullhorn about how the school needs to be moved five inches to the right or yelling at Parker Posey until she cried.
