Don't you know life lessons are racist and sexist?

Did the new sonic movies teach lessons? Chip and dale new movie? I can't even remember honestly.

All three sonic movies had a decent message and are catered to kids. All three are decent movies overall as well.

Anime is really popular today and tends to promote traditional values like hard work and protecting others. I think more kids today can relate to Tanjiro from Demon Slayer, who spent nearly the entire first season training to get good, than they can to someone like Rey from Star Wars who was automatically the best at everything she did and needed no training or practice.

I don't know enough about anime to give an opinion but absolutely agree with the premise when it comes to Star Wars IP lately. Little Leia, Rey, even young Wonder Woman in WW2 are already finished products

The original SW trilogy strength was it showed Luke learning from older mentors and becoming more wise and more expert in the process. It is harder to find real morality in the newer stuff

Every one of those movies is animated or a remake except for Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Road Trip (which looks good!).

Where are these movies?

The Sandlot
Little Giants
The Mighty Ducks
Rookie of the Year
My Girl
The Goonies
Honey I Shrunk the Kids
Home Alone
October Sky

Live action stories with hijinks to help construct a social reality for children.
