quote:

Don't think this a cliche', but something that just irks me about movies and women. Women get so pissed off and offended with infidelity yet when it's in a romcom and some Ryan Gosling type is smashing down a married woman or breaks up a marriage that is about to happen it's somehow sweet that they end up together in the end.

Thank you! I tell my wife she is a hypocrite for not letting me do the things to her that Christian Grey does in the 50 Shades of Grey movies. And another thing that bothers me, in sports movies where the receiver or RB is running for the goal line to win the game, and the camera keeps cutting to the clock like it matters. The player will typically score and then the clock hits all 0's.

War Movies/Battles scenes

In the middle of an intense battle a supporting main character/comrade is dying on the battle field...a fellow good guy usually the lead main character takes himself out of the fight while in plain fricking sight right in the middle of a fricking combat zone to hold dying comrade in his arms with a gay love stare for several moments and never gets killed, shot, or harmed for being an easy defenseless target on the battle field.

either immediate cut in to people laughing so writers dont have to put a joke to paper or people who laugh over the top to a joke that isnt funny to convey that these people are funny and have depth/worthwhile conversations even though the dialogue is terrible

No one ever saying bye on the phone
Never giving enough time for me to believe anyone is actually saying anything on the other line
The forced independent and outspoken "strong" woman
Effeminate males who feel the need to get the girl back after she's the one that fricks up
