Another weekend where I didn't really do a lot of watching.
Recently the Affleck Brothers have done their part to popularize Boston crime dramas but before this current streak and before his untimely departure director Ted Demme(Blow) would re-team with Denis Leary(previously having worked together on The Ref) would venture into the celtic underworld in Monument Ave. (1998). An underworld where Bobby O'Grady(Leary) would have to choose between family loyalty, the bonds of childhood against the criminal code of silence. At first it's all cocaine and good times till ruthless mob Jackie O'Hara(Colm Meaney) murders O'Grady cousin from there O'Grady knows what he wants to do but will he? Therein lies our movie.
From the amount of coke done onscreen in this movie and in Blow it didn't come as a shock when Demme died of a heart attack in his 30s. He had a very promising career in crime fiction and here we have I would say is his best work available on instant watch in HD.

I watched Poltergeist III last night and it creeped me out just as much as it did when I was a kid. All those mirrors and the reflections moving by themselves freaked me out

The last 4 episodes of BCG season 2, first 2 episodes of the British Office.

I also watched Big Bad Wolf(2006) which is the craziest werewolf movie I've ever seen. Not only does this movie feature a talking werewolf but it also stars the chick from the Halloweentown movies.
