Watched Tron Legacy on Disney+, Flynn’s arc is what Luke’s should have been in TLJ

Isolated himself to prevent the villain from using his power for evil, Rey says no we have to go fight & sneaks off against Luke’s wishes. Rey gets in trouble but Luke shows up and goes nuclear. Even so the FO finds his location and finds ancient texts or whatever. Snoke/Kylo move to crush Republic/Resistance armed with knowledge of texts. Luke sacrifices himself to save Rey, who comes out the other side wiser and stronger to fight FO in ep9.

Tron Legacy is a damn good movie. This is a pretty good idea.
