Tonight should be jammed packed with action. Last episode before the season finale.

Eventually they will have to leave the farm. Where would y'all go if you were in ricks shoes. Based on where they are now i would go into the Smokey mountains near gatlingburg, or try to make it to the Yellowstone/rocky mountain area.

Andrea gets eaten by a cow zombie that fell into the moat.

Oops sorry about the spoilers.

Change your title to "The Walking Dead 3-11."

I know all the spoilers but I just hope it doesn't drag until the last 5 minutes.

I predict a lot of slow, boring dialogue. One or two acts of sheer stupidity. And 3 minutes of good tv.

After seeing the helicopter in episode 1, I would assume that there is still pockets of a well equiped functional government/governing body.

I would head to the best place to be in a doomsday apocalypse setting, military base. Ft knox or ft benning for rick and his group.

In a zombie apocalypse, the bigger your group the better. Trying to fend off the undead And/or other bands of surviving marauders would be futile.

No reason to leave. Any remote area with resources is where you want to be. An occasional slow moving mindless zombie is easy to handle if you aren't stupid like Dale. You have a vet who has proven to be a pretty good doctor and the makings of a family unit to perpetuate mankind. They should be focused on survival by learning skills that will help them survive.

Shane, obviously wants to be in control so more conflict with Rick is inevitable. Shane and Andrea should go out on their own and find their own farm or whatever. It' not like Hershel's farm is the only bastion of survival on the planet.

I said in season 1 i would head for Cades Cove. Very remote and everything you need to survive, fish, game etc etc.

I believe the current consensus on the proper lines of defense for a zombie apocalypse (from outside in) are moat, then wall, then treadmills surrounding the house.

You're right that's the consensus, but I don't know. Something doesn't seem right.

Minefield between the wall and treadmills? Could work unless we have stupid kids wandering around where they shouldn't be.

Im gonna go with treadmills in front of the moat. Get the good ones that generate electricity, then you can have free electricity...

I was thinking Cades Cove as well. The area is way more than enough for 20 people. And correct me if im wrong but there is only 1 way in and out right? Unless the zombies are really good at going over mountains

Treadmills, moat, wall, moat of zombies, wall, moat, treadmills is by far the safest way to go. the moat of zombies in the middle are for humans who are trying to get in. Might seem like a lot of work but you have Glen who's people built a GIGANTIC wall (technically those were the chinese, not koreans) AND the transcontinental railroad...put that kid to work!

Anyone know a legit place to stream the episode live tonight? I don't pay for cable so I usually go to a friends house, but he's not gonna be home tonight. I'd really like to catch it live instead of downloading it tomorrow.

ETA: I think i found a justin.tv stream, but a second option wouldn't be a bad thing.
