Probably one of my most anticipated movies of 2021. Opening June 25, 2021. Hopefully the theaters are fully back up and swinging by then.

Woody Harrelson will apparently play Carnage.

I enjoyed the first Venom even though it seemed to have mixed reviews.

Oh wow I did not know this was happening.

I enjoyed Venom. I think they did the character justice and it looked really good on screen. I think I was just mostly disappointed in the product given the visual effects potential of Sony and quality actor in Hardy. Could have been more.

13 year old me would have called it a masterpiece lol. I say that bc the venom I got as a kid in Spiderman 3 pissed me right the hell off.

Wife and I went into Venom thinking it’d be trash based on what we were hearing but we were thoroughly surprised at how much we enjoyed it.

Hope they actually let them go full R rated this time. Carnage in PG-13 would be lame.

I’m not exactly sure what they plan but they have Hardy signed to a three movie deal. The first did well enough at the box office that they started production right away.

Fan boys are complaining about the title, but I think with Harrelson attached there is serious potential for this.

Or it could absolutely bomb if it was rushed. The opening was pushed back 8-9 months so there should be limited or few issues. This is the product they want to put out whatever it is.

I think the nature of the role lends itself to being rated R, but I think it also limits your box office audience to a degree. Either way, I’m there. Carnage is one character I’ve wanted to see on screen for a long long time. I’m not a fan of his, but I view him as an ultimate villain.

They need to go all out with Carnage. I want to see him ripping heads off and eating them like a chimp with a mango

I liked it, but it wasted a lot of potential. They should have made it an R and much darker, like Hardy wanted and which I think they shot a lot of. I'd love to see a director's cut.
