Uhh...at an enormous nationwide company like WM? Would you really expect the guy on a garbage truck collecting trash to know the name of the CEO of the company? Much less what he looks like?

I work for one of the largest utility companies in the country. I am not middle, or even upper management. Every employee gets a weekly video message, and a monthly state of the company message form the CEO. I did find it odd that they didn't know what he looked like.

Didn't watch it but is it any different than what it seems to be? i.e. a corporate PR move to shift the blame for the problems and poor working conditions at these companies from where it belongs, at the top, to middle management.
ding...ding...ding.... this show (at least this episode) was all about goodwill. I had to turn it when the people came out of the house to give the trash collector hugs.

I'm sorry, but you have to be a really bad CEO, for your employees to not know who you are.
not in a company like waste management

That is ridiculous what he did. We are told to play games with the girls but that was crossing the line. My girls might annoy the shite out of me but I wouldn't degrade them.
