I like JJ--he's my boy--but he's been a pretty huge douche about this show.
It wasn't really the comment about the show. He just reminded me of Rodney Dangerfield in Back to School when he said, "Why read the book when I can watch the show?" I just got the image of a buffoon. Didn't mean to come across as a douche about the show. Just trying to help/steer people in the right direction of what is going to happen, but now HBO has veered so far off from the books that it doesn't matter. They were supposed to introduce Weres in this episode and Godric was supposed to die, but they completely changed it up so who knows what's going to happen from now on.

Sorry, I've had 8 hours sleep since Friday. Apologize for the douchery.

I know things are different from the book because books are a writer's imagination. TV Shows are a screenwriter's imagination.
Personally, I'm happy as hell they didn't kill off Lafayette because a funny sombitch

Lafayette cracks me up. Especially when he did that dance after Eric gave him his blood LOL. "Hookah I am dead last!"
Someone on youtube posts these True Blood spoofs with song lyrics that match the scenes. Hilarious.

^Lmao. I especially love when Lukinator (aka Tim Tebow) told Jason that he's a "Muslim buffy with a d!ck."
True Blood has some of the best one-liners I've ever heard.

Random: Jason Stackhouse was also in Dead Silence, which I believe was filmed and/or based in Louisiana as well.

^Ryan Kwanten (Jason Stackhouse) was also in Flicka and Summerland. Lol. Dead Silence was one creepy movie..."Maaaaarry Shaaaaw." I will never look at Jeff Dunham and his puppets the same way again.

That hug was so random.... I wasn't even a part of it and it made me feel awkward.

Lol. Jason is such a lovable goofball/dufus. Gotta love him. I think that Eric and Lafayette are my favorite characters though, and I'm starting to have an interested in Godric (his part was so minimal in the books).
Maryanne aka the human vibrator annoys the *beep* out of me, and Eggs is one-dimensional as well. Tara needs to get a backbone.
The Sookie/Bill pairing is starting to grow old fast. I don't care that Steven and Anna are engaged in real life; that shouldn't make Alan Ball want to 'keep them together' on the big screen. I hope they don't deviate too much from the Eric/Sookie relationship that was big in the books.

Jason just wants to get some hot poon.... I mean every chic he's nailed, I'd do too.
Mary-Ann makes me want to punt kittens.
Eric will be tapping Sookie by the end of next season - bank on it.
LT118: Do you watch Hung too?

I've been wanting to watch Hung; I hear it's good. I normally change channels after True Blood comes on (can't stand Entourage). Should I start watching it?
Posted on 8/12/09 at 12:32 am to TheeGamecock
I found out tonight that the author the books are based on graduated from my school.

Hung is getting better as time goes on. It started off reallyyyy slow.
Gemma is hot as hell though and keeps most guys watching it.

It's slowly carving it's niche. I'd watch the premiere online and go from there before you dive in midway. You haven't missed a whole helluva lot as they have 20-25 minute episodes - I wish they would extend the episodes.

I'll probably start watching it then. Why not?
Does HBO on Demand have the episodes on Hung like they do True Blood?
