This season was too ambitious. It almost seemed as if the story and the telling of the story we all designed to be on such a larger scale than the season 1.
There were so many more designed/ blatant rabbit holes to lure the viewer than season 1 as well.
Season 2 took everything that was clever, smart and intriguing about season 1, dumbed it up and made it as plastic as the city it took place in.
Season 1 earned buy in. We were deeply invested in the characters.. Season 2, we were never really given a chance.
Season 1 made me think and appreciate the art of the storytelling, scenery and the acting. Season 2 just seemed like a bunch of kids trying to hard to be poignant.
If Season 3 occurs, take me some place else. Take me to a locale that isn't plastic. Give me characters that earn my interest. Provide a story that is more captivating than cheap. Provide a plot this is more clever.

My view is that Frank got screwed by the Mexicans in the end as a sick joke. He pushed them out of his club. Then needed info so he let them back in. They killed the girl and he let them get way with it because he was preoccupied with finding out who screwed him over. Their disrespectful treatment of a Frank should have been dealt with. To the Mexicans Frank was weak. In all his planning he didn't see them as a factor.
