That bonus scene was the tits. Jason is going to wreck shop next season, but I am sad the Jason/Jessica angle is done.

That crossed my mind as well. I'm thinking Eric simply didn't believe the blood would do a thing to Bill and allowed him to drink it. He's five times older than Bill and should have been able to nullify him at will.

I think he was also hoping that Bill would think twice with Sookie there and wanted to give him that opportunity. I also don't think he thought it'd do anything ether.

I just rewatched part of the episode and my mind is still blown.

I bet it's not. I have a feeling Jason has a concussion or some shite like that driving his "visions". Especially since Sookie made the comment about she should've taken him to the hospital after she found him laying in the field.

One hopes that Pam realizes in the first episode that Tara is a huge bitch and gives her the True Death accordingly.

I'm thinking that this state that Jason is in is temporary. He got zapped by that old arse fairy by mistake and she had that oh shite look in her face after she zapped him.

Hating Tara is so 2008-2011. She was one of the better characters this year. Sookie was easily the worst female character this year. Salome, Nora, and werebitch all were hot and showed some skin this year. The redhead authority chic and the "it's been rad serving you guys" chic were alright. Luna was okay, still has a nice body despite the small saggy tits. Jessica was Jessica and that's all she ever needs to be, same goes for Pam. Tara went from stupid dramatic bitch that let people walk all over her to a hard arse vampire who didn't let people frick her over anymore. Those fairy chics were all Hell even Martha Bozeman and Emma had their decent parts.

Sookie was just an annoying shallow bitch this season. Whining because she was attracting all this drama and I'm like bitch, other shite takes precedent over you! We got vampires and shite trying to take over the world, Russell Edgington not giving a single frick, and you are all sad because no one has put their dick in you in more than a week and you have fairy powers? frick off Sookie.

One season cannot make up for the 4 year train wreck Tara has laid before the altar of Bilith.

I recall True Blood signing a 7 season contract. So definitely 2 more seasons, not sure what lies ahead beyond that.

If true blood for the next two seasons is anything like this one, this series will be remembered as having a good start in seasons 1-2, and then boring-shitty lull in seasons 3-4 and then having an epic finish in season 5-7.

I really hope this is the case.

Agree with you on that. I really enjoyed Seasons 1 & 2. I wasn't a fan of Season 3 and 4. Season 5 IMO 'righted the ship' into a good direction. I enjoyed this past season/take it for what it is. I agree with whatever poster stated that Boardwalk Empire and Game of Thrones are serious dramas, whereas True Blood is a dramedy/not meant to be taken seriously.

I remember reading online 2 years ago that True Blood had signed on for a total of 7 seasons. I could be wrong but I don't think viewership has dropped, has it? I'm pretty sure it's still one of HBO's mainstays.

To me, the seasons are ranked: 3, 1, 5, 4, and 2.

Outside of Godric and the Newlins, I pretend that season two never happened. Season 3 brought us Alcide and Russell and had Jason captured by a hot inbred bitch. That was a great year for the show. Season 1 was great. This season kinda lulled from episode 2-5, but had a great close. Season 4 just focused wayyyy too much on Marnie. Witches just aren't that interesting when you have fairies, vampires, werewolves, shifters, and mediums out there.

Yep.

IMO true blood is a very good mix of comedy and drama.

Speaking of the Newlins...what happened to Sara Newlin?? I don't remember Steve or anyone else talking about her whereabouts this season. Any chance she'll be back in season 6?
