Really enjoyed it. Nothing special, but I just liked it.

And Ms. Adams

My friends think I'm really weird when I tell them she's my celebrity crush. Has been ever since I saw Enchanted a few years back. She's cute and seems like she would be a sweetheart in real life. And by all accounts she is.

I, too, love Amy Adams.

As for the movie, I thought it was pretty good. kept the plot moving along, and didn't really slow down.

I'm not sure how those guys were calling "Gentry" a 5-tool player (no base-stealing threat there )

Also, the second I saw the Mexican guy at the hotel in N.C., I knew where that was going to end up.

Very average. There are much better baseball movies.

Yeah other than Athens and Dunwoody and the Braves being a part of this film it was pretty bad. I love Amy but not one of her better performances.

The movie was good overall but the ending was terrible in every sense.

Seriously, the peanut dude shows up out of nowhere and starts clowning the top HS hitter with a GOAT curveball???? GTFO...you aren't THAT highly regarded if you can't hit a damn curve....much less a curve from someone who isn't even playing baseball and doesn't have any type of coaching.

I love Amy Adams. I love baseball. I love baseball movies. I even vaguely like Matthew Lillard, especially as a villain.

And I couldn't sit through the whole movie. It's pretty awful.
