ILC was funny as hell when I was a kid.

It's pretty dreadful to watch as an adult.

See...you had to remind me...and now that I remember, yes it was funny and remember watching it.

But it didn't reasonate...it was a passing blip...never felt like it had teeth...the jokes were too in their time.

ILC was Arsenio Hall...a flashy, new avant-garde 90's relic.

SNL - was timeless (though it totally sucks since about 2000)...but SNL was Johnny Carson/Letterman...all those Eddie Murphy, Martin Short, Phil Hartman, Jan Hooks, Dana Carvey, Mike Meyers, Steve Martin, Rob Schneider, Chris Farley, David Spade, Adam Sandler, Al Franken, Kevin Nealon, Victoria Jackson, Tim Meadows, Jon Lovitz, Ben Stiller, Dennis Miller...

That was the golden era...

I loved Kim Wayans as Benita Butrell.

But I ain't one to gossip, so you ain't heard it from me. And better not nobody say nothing about Miss Jenkins!

ILC has a talented cast but a lot of it was not that funny. Go ahead, watch some episodes now. It was the cool show to love but it's almost as dated as Saved by the Bell

Have no clue what ILC is like watching it in adult life; but as a kid I definitely watched more of it than SNL. Lots of good sketches. Had several of those 6 and half hour tapes of recorded ILC episodes
