i enjoyed the movie but after watching the 'making of' and hearing the director drone on and on and on about the evils of capitalism and the utopia of a socialist society and explaining how he tried to make the movie about that it turned me off completely to this film such that i haven't been able to watch it since.

I need to give Children of Men another shot. I remember being bored when I watched it the first time, but I watched it in pieces though. It gets a lot of love on here, and I figure I should sit down and devote my time to actually watching it start-to-finish.
