This is basically the best synopsis of Titanic. Old Rose shows total disregard for all of her family by hanging on to the time she messed around with a homeless dude on a sinking ship. She pretty much openly wished her family away

Yeah but did anyone really pay that much attention to the plot?

It's a great movie. Anyone who thinks it's strictly a chick flick is dumb. There's a reason it was one of the highest grossing films ever.

Likewise. Titanic was the 2nd largest domestic box office hit in history grossing over 605 million bucks and that was in 1997. Only Avatar made more when it was released in 2009. LINK

It's not that I dislike the movie. But she literally watches it every time it's on tv. So I've already seen it like 4 times this year alone

Frick that, I'll go see Hunger Games for a 3rd time. Titanic is incredibly overrated and comes on tv several times a month anyway. But poor Billy Zane is totally bald now, but had hair in Titanic .

Yep, I don't hate Titanic at all, because once the ship starts sinking, the film becomes pretty damn good, but its just the build-up to get the chicks really involved in the plot. I will say that James Cameron is a genius for being able to appeal to as many people as possible as effectively as possible, which means more money.
