Tires Season 3 - off to a bad start

Somebody please tell me this gets better. I couldn't get enough of the first 2 seasons, but this first episode of Season 3 is off to a crap start. It's like every cast member except for Phil has read too many press releases and are taking themselves too seriously. The timing and delivery is slow and awkward. Hopefully things smooth out.

Episode 2 was fricking hilarious. Also that trip to DC convo at the end of Episode 1 
more of that character please. Reminded me of the mechanic that was killed too soon in season 1.

Just watched the first episode. I loved it. Have no idea how you could have watched the first 2 seasons and not liked it.

The beginning of episode 5 real strong start to the season. Ep 1 is the weakest but the rest are all real strong so far.
