Thoughts on Dangerous Animals (2025)

This was a fun little horror thriller.
It’s about a girl who gets kidnapped by a shark obsessed serial killer.
Really, the reason to see this is Jai Courtney. He is so fricking good. There was one sxe. Where I didn’t fully by he is this character. Really made the movie.
The rest of the movie is pretty standard escape from location movie. Enjoyable enough. I thought the main actress, while hot, was kinda unlikable.
The sharks…. There may not have been a single non-cgi shot of a shark in this movie. For the most part it just does the job but there’s a couple of shots during the day which are insultingly bad. Now I understand very few people will see this in theaters like I did, but those bad cgi shots made the movie screen embarrassed.

I thought it was a solid move and is getting overlooked in theaters.
Good premise and execution. There was one kill shot (intended to look like a shark week kill) that wasn't very good but overall it was a solid horror thriller.
