Good thing this show had a great cast and location. I still don't get what the show is about and I finished the whole season.
It's about making you as the viewer as tense and nervous as possible at all times. Murder mystery mixed with some comedy. Just a fairly unique way of telling a story for a TV show. Almost like Clue but harder to predict. The sexual tension is there in every season as well.
If you weren't crazy about S1 most likely you wont like S2 and S3. Most consider S1 to be the best, though S3 has yet to end.

Yeah that makes sense.

I finished season two last night. Like others on this board I had trouble getting into it at the beginning of season 1. I was even texting my buddy who recommended it "when is it supposed to get good because nothing is happening". Yet here I am, just finished the second season and cant wait to start the third. I can't tell you why I enjoyed it, but I did. Great casts for the first two seasons.

finished season 1 this weekend. at first i didnt really get it, then i kind of started hating it, then i ended up liking it alot by the end. skimming through this thread actually makes me like it even more in hindsight. i expected it to be more of a procedural storyline leading up to a murder, but i'm glad it wasnt. sort of like Twin Peaks a little in that the story is almost secondary to the characters, their interactions, the setting, and the atmosphere.
might actually give the whole season a rewatch.
