Question: When they have to make runs when they have to go into a closed space where they know there will be walkers, why do they not cover themselves in walker guts so they can blend in easier? They did that in season one and it worked pretty well. It's messy, but it seems like it would be a "go to" tactic, especially when they have to get something like medicine.
eh, with the disease that's happening right now I wouldn't want any guts around me

shite, was that sneak preview like 3 seconds long. I turned my head for a second and pretty much missed almost all of it.
Oh and:
Good point. Heck, maybe they could even try somehow putting some human scent (I know that would be disgusting) on some members of a zombie hoard to see if they could get them to start eating each other. (The fact that zombies don't eat other zombies always seems like a too convenient thing to me).

Yeah seriously. frick that

Manson is going to face a ton of backlash
He's typically much more sharp than tonight. He was fricked up on something.

He looks high as shite and sounds fricking stupid with these crazy, long, abstract arguments that make no sense whatsoever
The host looks like he's using every ounce of energy he has to not kick his arse

Chris was making fun of him the whole episode. He sounded like a moron.

Great episode!
Sort of.
The Carol bit is hackneyed and unnecessary. Was I the only one who knew right off the bat that she killed them? Probably not. But this is the kind of drama that hurts the show. Now we know that sometime in the future, Tyrese will have to deal with Carol. It's inevitable and the writers will try to create that tension even though we know it will eventually happen.
I'm not really sure why Glenn and Maggie are still on the show. Their roles have greatly diminished. Glenn was one of the best characters in season 1. I hate they didn't let him remain the wild, young, "Hey dumbass!" kid he was earlier.
Beth needs to check her mouth when she's talking. She keeps doing something weird with her lips that is distracting.
But why was this episode great?
The real horde of zombies. The fricking zombie capital! Thousands of them! That was a great shot. A great scene. This show thrives on making the viewer say, "Oh shite!" That was a great "oh shite" moment. I have no idea how they're going to handle that. Is that herd on its way to the prison? Is that why they've been getting hit by tons of zombies? Is there some kind of Mecca the zombies are headed to? Some kind of goal? Great plot twist.
Also, the radio is perfect for this show. Hopefully it won't be a repeating message by some French chick. Hopefully it's an actual semblance of civilization reaching out for other survivors.

I'm pretty sure you were probably in the minority.

But I mean isn't that the point, now we all will speculate on how Tyreese will get his revenge on Carol. It's especially interesting seeing how both of their characters have become cold and kinda crazy

I'm not the only one who thought Manson was high I see. That is the thing about live shows they can be hit or miss. Though the Talking Dead is good for one thing, when they announce three guests ahead of time you know a main character isn't going to die. When they announce two and a "surprise" guest someone major is biting the dust.

Rewatching and still didn't pick this up the second time around.
What does Darrel ask D'Angelo that's on the paper after D'Angelo asks if Darrel is sure that he wants him along? He reads something, but I couldn't pick up what it was.

A type of medication that daryl would have no idea how to find.
Posted on 10/27/13 at 10:42 pm to PurpleGoldTiger
Pronouncing the name of a Veterinary Antibiotic (actually it should be an antiviral antibiotics will be useless). Daryl was basically testing Bob to see if he was actually needed on the trip/could pull his own weight with the medical knowledge. Its interesting that we have 5 "medical" personnel now in Herschel, Maggie, Carol, Bob, and Dr. S. I assume Dr. Stevens was killed when the Governor mowed down his troops.

That makes sense, thanks.
I forgot about his medical knowledge.

Antibiotics could be useful in treating this new sickness if it's a bacterial cause, but whatever drug name they used did sound like an antiviral. I didn't hear it exactly but the ending of the world sounded like an antiviral.

You should play DayZ if you've got a PC

They have referred to it as a flu strain. The antibiotics could be to boost the immune system. Weird analogy but the life bar on a classic video game, say it gets down to 30 percent the original Walker Sickness which causes everyone to turn takes over.
We are dealing with at least three distinct illnesses in show now. Basic infection is what kills you when you get bitten. The Walker Sickness that turns you no matter how you die (other than headshots). Now this they have described as Flu Like.
