nah, he just killed Hershel...and Season 3 was the writers fault for making him so bad of a character.

Season 4 made up for the shittyness of the 3rd season

Yeah season 3 deserves to be completely dismissed.

I wanted season 2 Herschel dead.

Hershel's character reminds me of what Nanny McPhee told the children: "When you need me but do not want me, then I must stay. When you want me but no longer need me, then I have to go."

Yes, I just quoted Nanny McPhee in a Walking Dead discussion.

I liked the short-lived season 4 version of the Governor much more. They took time to develop his character and his motivations are very clear.

Season 3, especially after the eye-patch, all he was missing was a t-shirt that says "I Am The Bad Guy"

I guess I am the only human alive... that enjoyed season 3. I quit watching in season 2, when everyone around me was turning into Walking Deads. The endless arguing in the woods around the campfire; the tell me not she me writing, made me quit. I was sure the show would die.

When I realized the show was still clicking in season 4, I picked up at the end of season 2, skipping over some of the woods/ farm cadavers, jumping to the end of 2 and continuing from there.

I found season 3 to be remarkably better than season 2, and the show built from there. Much less tell me everything writing, and more show and tell.

I kinda agree with you...I mean I enjoyed season 2 just because of the Sophie zombie reveal, and the last episode when they finally left the farm, and Rick killed Shane, and Rick also revealed that they are all infected.

Season 3 really didn't have many good stand alone episodes...I hated the whole Andrea thing they had going on, but I loved the interactions they displayed at the prison...especially the ones with Hershel.

They did a lot of character development in Season 3 that I loved, but they ruined the governor
