yea it would have sucked if Bonnie was gone. That was smart thinking on Damon's part though. Can't wait to see how pissed Elijah will be when he wakes up

clever. I wonder if Klaus leave's Ric's body now? Poor Ric, not doing anything to anyone, just trying to get into his vehicle, and WHAM, kidnapped by a witch and possessed. What are the chances?
Not sure exactly how the Matt/Caroline thing will go, but I can kinda see a bit of a softening happening... perhaps the thing of allowing him to NOT be compelled to forget allows him to see her for who she really is and slowly come to appreciate that she isn't some kind of monster and he comes to love the "real" her. Maybe the same thing happens with her mom, who knows... She was rocking the Jackie O look though!

I'm waiting for Matt or her mom to sneak a knife in Caroline's back. I don't see her mom accepting and being cool with her being a vampire.

I like this show a lot. All the women are smokin' hot and the men are cool too. The plot has a nice balance between hardcore killing, romance and vampire fantasy. Thought the back-story with the Salvatore brothers with Katherine was interesting and nicely done. The current storyline with Klaus is good but I am getting tired of the whiney relationship between Caroline and Matt. But I never get tired for looking at Candice Accola. And I could definitely stand some more revealing shower scenes with Nina Dobrev.

I'm a Damon fan--he always keeps it from slipping too far into the soap opera category. Just when you think he's become a love-lorn sap, WHAM, he snaps right back into pscyho mode and senselessly kills someone. And actually, though they don't play it up very much, Stefan has a bit of a dark side they keep pretty hidden from Elena--remember that scene where he threatens Uncle John in his hospital bed? Stone-cold. He pretty much laid down the law with Ric in the very beginning too, back when we didn't exactly know what Ric was up to after he first blew into town...

Ok...finally caught up.
Wow. This last one was pretty awesome.
Matt/Caroline....I hope this progresses more next week. It's kinda lame right now w/ Matt all scared of her and shite. But I do wonder how much he'll find out about the rest of the group.

That did make me giggle. He's all freaked out and matter of the fact at the same time.
Stephan needs to step up b/c I am all about some Damon right now. When he told Elena he would always choose her?????? SWOON. Definitely my fave character on the show. Badass but has a soft side deep in there. And how funny was him dancing?
Looks like Klaus will either get out of Ric's body or we'll be seeing him in some flashbacks.

I'm pretty sure this week they are doing some flash backs, but that reminds me--there is an extended trailer on the network website... have to go check that out (I always forget to do that!)

I have no problem with the acting. Sometimes the writing gets under my skin... or maybe more of the direction of the writing. Like a lot of what they do with Jenna. Your whole house is filled with vampires, vampire hunters, the daughter of a vampire, a man and boy wearing resurrection rings, werewolf friends, etc, and yet you're not told *anything* ever? C'MON! TELL the woman! Stupid. I mean, at least so she knows not to invite ANYONE in. EVER.
I also wish the "kids" were in college. I'd be a little more comfortable with their practically parent-sanctioned whoring and drinking if they were.
All that being said, this show is a guilty pleasure and I enjoy it immensely. It fills in the gaps between True Blood seasons, which is funny, b/c growing up, Vampires were my boogie-man big fear, thanks to Stephen King and Salem's Lot. I enjoy the dark humor of both series though.

Crazy episode. I know Klaus is the bad guy but I'd like to see what a vampire/werewolf hybrid looks like.

finally caught up on this latest episode--pretty good. I wonder if we're going to find out why Elijah changed his mind about helping his bro?
Damon was great in this episode--classic. Elijah, "All I want is an apology" Stefan "I'm sorry" Damon "You can all go to hell" At least he didn't kill his little girlfriend.

Ok, I just caught up last night too.
That was a good episode! The only thing that bothers me is that Jenna now knows....and then we don't see or hear anything else the rest of the episode.
And I thought Elijah always was plotting against Klaus?? Definitely can't wait to see what happens w/ that. And how did they become vampires if they were born human? That wasn't really explained.

Speaking of Alaric, I'm watching a zombie comedy movie starring him called "Aaah! Zombies!". It's on the Chiller Network, he's pretty funny in it
