I generally agree, but sometimes directors/artists take it to an extreme. in this example, the movie is taking place at the tail end of the medieval warm period. Britain had the warmest temps and the most sunshine she’s had since the LGM, so at the very least it was a bit brighter than we see today

My guy. If there is one thing I have learned about the story of the Peasants' Revolt of 1381 since this trailer was released, it is something of a legendary tale amongst Marxists and socialists. While the cast is all white the message will probably be very left-leaning to say the least considering current events.

It's not just the what, it's the why.
Socialists view the 1381 Peasants' Revolt as a foundational example of class struggle within feudal society, aligning with their theories regarding historical materialism.
It demonstrated (to them at least) that resistance to the ruling class was driven by material conditions, specifically the exploitation of serfs and laborers, rather than abstract ideals such as those which motivated our Founding Fathers.
Its leaders articulated early socialist concepts, such as the demand for equality and the abolition of serfdom and is therefore celebrated as an early, organized attempt by the working class to challenge state power and the church, inspiring later movements such as the modern socialist campaigns for workers' rights.
But please, by all means, praise it for being anti-woke because it has an all-white cast.

Hey, it's a good sign. We'll see if the movie tries to be socialist propaganda or not. If so, I won't be watching.
People being incorrect about socialism being an economic system that results in a classless society is irrelevant to me. If the film tries to force some sort of socialist agenda, I simply won't see it. Should be easy enough to figure out before release.
