Watched 4 or 5 eps. Gave up. Never saw the Reverend or Jon Hamm so maybe I will give it another go. Really silly show though.

I watch 30 Rock at least once a year so I have no problem with Tina Fey.
This show was pretty horrible and Fey basically took the worst characters from 30 Rock.
Kimmy is a fish out of water just like Kenneth. Tossed in odd religious experiences just like Kenneth with Reverend Gary.
Dfwan was funny in very small doses on Queen of Jordan but as a full blown character he is terrible and far more over the top. He is like a caricature of Dfwan.
Jacqueline is the exact same "look it me" character as Jenna. Her daughter adds nothing to the show.
Carol Kane! Dear god make her stop. She single-handedly drops the show about 2 letter grades.

It's clear 30 Rock was pulled off by Alec Baldwin and the guy who played Kenneth. Also Kimmy Schmidt is actually pretty funny. The gay black roommate kills me.

weird view, but I can see people having that opinion. Only comedy writers really enjoyed 30 rock. Fey and Carlock aren't exactly geared towards middle americans.
