The Rite was horrific

I don't exactly know what I was expecting going into it, most of the exorcism crap has already been done, but my lord.
I have never been so utterly bored in a movie. Snail's Pace doesn't even begin to describe it.

Anthony Hopkins must've owed someone a favor. Weird that he hasn't been in anything forever, and he comes out of semi retirement to do The Rite.

despite the bad reviews I still want to see this movie, I'm actually interested in this stuff and apparently this is one of the first movies that is a accurate description of exorcisms.

For me the movie failed when it was rated PG-13.

I'm sad it got such bad reviews everywhere. I've been dying to see it, because I'm a HUGE fan of Anthony Hopkins.
