The husband's bitterness is just so genuine.
Interestingly, I saw the same "couple" playing husband/wife on a United commercial a few weeks ago. They got along better in that one.

I hate those ads so much. What are they trying to say? Bitter, passive aggressive people should use our product? It's just such a hateful ad.

My hatred of that ad is a visceral reaction, not one of thinking. It's a mean, hateful ad about mean, hateful people. The only good thing about it is that its 30 seconds long and ends quickly. I actively despise everyone in that ad.

i dunno every commercial is washed out by the 1000's of times i've heard the dish hopper commercial with the guy doing his best peter griffin voice.

What I love about the Mayhem ads is that I like to think that it is Ryan O'Reilly from Oz in his post-incarceration employment.
And who knew that Aaron Rodgers was a great straight man? Those ads work because he's a pretty good pitchman. Not quite Peyton levels, but he's got good timing.
