40 episodes down over the last 5 days.
The filler stuff in space doesn't annoy me at all like it did before Nappa and Vegeta finally arrived on Earth.

Where that guy fails is that Superman does not peak his lift around 100 tons.

It all depends on the writers, but there are instances where he peaked at quintillion/sextillion tons. Hell, we could go lower than that and say that it was billions of tons.

Now, lets use this man's math with just 1 billion tons.

1 billion tons = 2 billion lbs = 907184740000 kgs

907184740000/32 = 28349523125, meaning that Superman can lift 28,349,523,125 times the average human.

That would make Superman's PL 28,349,523,125x5 = 141,747,615,625.

ITS OVER 141 BILLION!!!!!!

That isn't even using the upper levels of strength Superman has used in the comics. I will agree that it is no fair using Superman Prime since he is pretty much a god.

Just saying.

Your post looks nice. Good bit of effort, but it's not accurate. Superman doesn't peak at 100 tons, but he is in the tier 100. It's said he peaks at around 100 tons, and his max is unknown. Different writers have different numbers.

I'm just saying, we gotta agree on which comic Superman we are discussing here. Superman has moved planets and has shown to lift a max of 200 quintillion tons. If that is his max, that is his peak, is it not?

At his peak, or even a small portion of his peak, Goku doesn't stand a chance.

Goku is a great character and all, but if we are dealing with the current Superman, he stands no chance.

If we're talking about current Superman that keeps getting ridiculously buffed, maybe not. Original Superman wouldn't stand a chance against Goku.

Superman has had his powers increased and reduced time and time again. To this point, it's a void imo. You can never have this fight on a even scale. Too many alternates and loose ends.

I think this was discussed earlier in the thread, but were Frieza and SS Goku's power levels 12 mil and 15 mil or 120 mil and 150 mil?

You have to add in there that after Vegeta crushed that last scouter, we don't know exact numbers for power levels. By the end of DBZ, we can only guesstimate at what level everybody is at.

Besides goku is faster than any speed ever mentioned of Superman. By GT, which we won't count, Goku and Vegeta could destroy planets with ease.

It depends on the comics again. There are instances where Superman and Flash are involved and they are moving at speeds greater than 2000 miles/second. I'm not sure if Superman has broken lightspeed, which is a huge jump up from 2000 miles/sec. I know the Flash can though.

There are claims that Supes has been able to fly FTL in space.

True, but it doesn't work when he can't concentrate. It isn't a tactic used in battle. Goku uses it move great distances between places or to escape.

I've always considered the movement in battle between the Z fighters and their enemies to be a lot like flash step (if you've ever seen Bleach).

Basically, it is short, extremely fast bursts of speed. I may be wrong though. I'm not the expert Poxx is.

Yea, that was what I was talking about. If you've seen Bleach, is the disappearing/reappearing of the Z Fighters in combat equatable to flash step?

Haven't seen much Bleach, but Goku has proven he can use Instant Transmission during intense battle. Instant Transmission was stated in the manga to be just that, instant. The speed of light doesn't compare.
