Since tbe thread has been resuscitated... Did anybody who has watched the new Avengers movie 8nstantly think of Dbs and the ToP at the end?

When the big guns all disappear at then emd, we all know in theyre coming back... It was straight out of the dragon ball playbook. And in fact, it seems Marvel is really kind of mirroring story ideas from Dragon Ball lately, especially with how much bigger and more cosmic the movies and show has gotten and how former bad guys (Loki and Winter Soldier to name a few) are now comrades with the heroes...just like DB.
I guess though, if you think about it, Dragon ball has always kind of taken cues from Marvel since the modern comics have been around for 50 yrs with all the space/gods stuf and FL dragon ball only about 35.

Yeah one thing this amazing Marvel universe has made me wish is that they'd invest in high budget live action DragonBall Z movies in a builded connected universe. Well cast, well directed, well written, start with the Sayain Saga and move all the way through Cell in a decade long set of connected movies.

Holy crap! That'd be a ton of movies. Instead of comic book movie fatigue people would have dragon ball fatigue. Though, the one time they did try a movie it kinda sucked.

One of the few good things about the Zack Snyder Superman movie was the final battle at the end that reminded me of a DBZ fight.

Left: Lemo [??] - A man sporting a scouter and gun like Chelye. Does this mean these two are comrades…?!”
Middle: Chelye [???/Chirai] - The only female among the characters introduced this time!! She looks pretty gallant with that gun.
Right:
Kikono [???] - Kikono wears some rather familiar-looking battle fatigues!! He doesn't seem too powerful, but…?!
