I think my all time favorite scene is when cell kills trunks and Vegeta freaks out and goes beast mode.

Yep, still gives me an erection

One of the many reasons Vegeta is my favorite. He always goes all out.

I've made several posts like that in this thread, and I agree. Those are some of the best scenes from DBZ. Top 10 attacks, fatal attacks, power ups/transformations, and even speeches have been done here. Vegeta's speech to ascend to the next level of Super Saiyan, while standing in the rain and parting the clouds is my favorite.

This is the scene that grabbed ahold of me and never let go. I'll never forget watching it one afternoon getting ready for soccer practice.

That's awesome man. Always cool to know what caught the attention of others. That is the best part about a thread like this one. Discussing old childhood memories. You can't talk about Dragon Ball to just anybody.

I remember getting there and asking somebody what the crazy show with some guy wearing Mega Man X armor(Vegeta) was. Those were the days before Adult Swim when they played two episodes of DBZ in the 11-12 block and I would pray everytime they got to Goku arriving on Namek that they wouldn't start it back at the beginning tomorrow.

Yeah I went for about 2 years with that prayer going unanswered.

I feel your pain! I hated when it kept restarting all the way back to Raditz. I went ape shite every time. Lol

Some of those scenes in the dub are almost ruined by the dialogue though.

Eh...maybe to some, but I can watch any version and be content. I grew up watching on Cartoon Network, so I'm more than okay with watching the English dub with the Bruce Faulconer score.

Yes I totally agree with you.. That's how I remember watching it so I don't have a problem with it as most do.

One that comes to mind is when Vegeta finally goes Super Saiyan. Krillin says something like "Guess who joined the Super Saiyan Club, dudes!"

There is only one score. The Faulconer score.
